HAND PAINTED CUSTOM PET PORTRAITS
CHERISH YOUR PET FOREVER
Our Studio
A few years ago, we moved from Vilnius to a remote homestead. It took time and effort to settle in properly, but little by little this place became not only our home, but also the place where Petsonwall portraits are created today.
While we were settling in, a tiny kitten who had only just opened his eyes arrived at the homestead. To protect him from the deadly danger posed by storks, we took him in. A little over a month later, his sister from the same litter appeared at our door. We decided to take her in as well. Our dog Lakūnas, who had also come into our lives under rather chaotic and unusual circumstances, did not object to these changes.
A little over a year ago, we bought some acrylic paint and painted our pets in a loose, playful style. We did not simply want to reproduce a photograph accurately, but to capture what the owner knows best – the look, the character, the unusual pose, the ears, the expression, the whiskers, and all those small details that make every animal unique. We hung the paintings on the wall of our farmhouse. That is how Petsonwall was born.
Today, in our studio, we hand-paint original portraits from photographs of people’s pets. Each one is a separate work, painted in acrylic on cardboard in a loose and playful style.
Petsonwall’s goal is to paint as many pet portraits as possible and capture their unique, playful, and sometimes completely unpredictable personalities.
